It seems like almost every day I have an experience that serves as a “pinch” to remind me that Farmacy cosmetics is really happening!
Most recently, it was a wonderful press preview event that we held at the amazing West Village restaurant, Rosemary’s. (You should go if you can. The food is great and they have a rooftop garden that supplies much of the Italian restaurant’s produce. They even have a rooftop webcam so you can see what’s happening there at all times!)
It’s funny, because for more than 20 years it’s been my business to produce events for people, but I’ve never actually had an event produced for a business of my own! Now, I have a new understanding of why clients get so nervous right before the event.
We welcomed editors and journalists to Rosemary’s to preview the products, and it was so exciting to explain the science behind Farmacy, and let ours guests try the products themselves. We featured the entire Farmacy line, including the amazing coconut gel masks (complete with application demonstration) lip bloom balms, and the full suite of cleansers, moisturizers and Invincible serum.
After the presentation, we headed up to the roof garden, where we tasted fresh pressed juice made from fruits and vegetables that are found in the Farmacy masks and lip blooms. Of course everyone opted for a tincture of Echinacea GreenEnvy extract in their juice while we talked plants, farming and natural skincare together.
The response was wonderful, and we sent our ambassadors back out into the world with some Farmacy to try at home and of course, some fresh organic produce from our neighborhood farm, Willow Wisp Organic Farm.
I will say this is one event where the choice of floral design was a no-brainer: Echinacea GreenEnvy in beakers, naturally!
